PostHeaderIcon Looking Ahead At Week Two: The Pittsburgh @ Chicago Clash

Despite the fact that they came out on two opposite ends of the winning spectrum in their Week One debuts, the Chicago Bears looked impressive even in a loss.

PostHeaderIcon Fantasy Football 2009's Comatose Sleepers

NOTE: This article is LONG. Fo rizzle. It's long as in... Michael Crabtree's holdout dispute long. It's long like... Tom Cable's restraining order length long. It's like... okay fine, I'll stop now. That definitely wasn't going anywhere tasteful. Anyway, I highly suggest printing this all out and reading it someplace where you'll have a lot of time and also won't be disturbed, a la... a bathroom or... a tree house or something along those lines.

PostHeaderIcon The Freudian Fumble Quiz: What Kind of Fantasy Football Personality Do You Have?

There are many different types of strategies that people choose to implement during their fantasy football season, and more often than not, it’s a direct reflection of their personality. Some people choose to start preparing for the next fantasy football season the day after the Super Bowl, while others rely on their own drunken intuition throughout the entire season.

PostHeaderIcon NFL Withdrawal Treatments: Intriguing Q1 Non-Divisional Matchups Analysis (Part 1/2)

In the interests of highlighting as many different high-quality games as we can, as well as insuring that the whole process is up-to-date and topical, all of us here at Football Scores Dot Me have decided that the time was ripe to take a look at the first quarter of the NFL season. We’ll cover the remaining quarters as we get further into the season to help avoid not discussing the sleepers and the busts too little or too much respectively. And by “all of us” I mean just me, Galligan, although I assure you the other staff members care just as deeply.

Each week will feature three of our most intriguing matchups followed by a wild card game that will be picked as an up-in-the-air type deal in the hopes of looking forward into the future. It will all make wonderfully fantastic sense once you start reading – of this much I promise you.

PostHeaderIcon Not again... Brett Favre changes mind for the umpteenth time, headed to Minneapolis to sign a $10-$12 million deal with Vikings

Contrary to everything that has happened and that Brett Favre has said before, Chris Mortensen of ESPN.com is citing a source saying that the quarterback is on a plane to Minneapolis as we speak to sign a $10 - $12 million dollar contract.

Vikings coach Brad Childress confirmed in an e-mail (also per ESPN.com) on Tuesday that confirmed that Favre was traveling from his home in Mississippi to meet with the team.

PostHeaderIcon FOOTBALLSCORES.ME's 2009 NFL Draft Live-Blog -- Update: Now In One, Convenient Post For Your Viewing Pleasure!

7:31PM: And the defending Super Bowl Champions take DT Evander Hood with the #32 pick. And yes, I agree with you that Evander Hood's name kind of sounds like Evander Holyfield but without so much going on...

Enjoy Round 2 -- perhaps I'll see you tomorrow should the circumstances prohibit it. Probably not though, as I cannot really feel my wrists at all right now. G'night!

PostHeaderIcon Bengals take Andre Smith at #6... hey, wait a second!

That's a logical and improvement-minded selection right there! I didn't know Cincinnati could make those types of selections... I'd like to try and make a Chad Johnson joke here right now but feel it would be too easy.
The Raaaaaaiddddeeeeezzzzz are up next with the 7th pick. Five GAZILLION say that they take Crabtree...

PostHeaderIcon THE FIRST DRAMA OF THE DRAFT! Jets trade up to the #5 spot to take QB Mark Sanchez!

We like the wheeling and dealing. It's good. It's great. It's not that great when I actually liked Sanchez and now he's going to the Jets, my beloved Patriots arch-rival...
But it's okay because it's still April and I really don't have to worry about that yet.
Next up are the Bengals and their mess that is a football squad! Intriguing!

PostHeaderIcon Seahawks take Aaron Curry at #4 as football common sense rejoices

I like the pick but I never thought he would fall to #4. I really didn't. This has major reprecusions for the Mark Sanchez plot line because he's either going to go to the Jets or the Redskins may very well move up to get him (that's the rumor).

Let's see some trades! Everybody loves trades!

Also, going on record to predict the Patriots trade down to at LEAST the 8-12 picks. Also, Aaron Curry looks like he's like 37 -- just saying!

Next up: The Browns!
